Looking into the face of my 92 year old grandmother is like staring into a mirror of what my face will be in 50 years. Her eyes are like my eyes– hazel, almond shaped and remarkably clear. Her nose is flat and broad, her cheekbones are wide. Her lips are generous and fill out her features. A half a century separates us, yet her genes repeat in my genes, they tell the bones in my face to fan out in a circular geometry, full of pre-determined angles and curves.
