Hearing the girl next door suddenly crying, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror with a cookie in your mouth. A sweet cookie with dark chocolate chunks. You feel the acute onset of two emotions, caught between the sound of someone’s sorrow and a moment of pleasure and you sway between the two instances like a wavering needle.
