I’ve been nursing a bad ankle for a while now (since this winter) and having an injury has taught me a lot about what the body is capable of doing. You don’t realize it until something actually goes wrong. Your whole body is this incredible miraculous integrative machine and it works without you thinking about it. I’ve decided to do less cardio and commit myself to yoga and Pilates. I love running but I’m gonna let that rest for a bit until summer. I just wanna listen to what my body needs right now and I think it’s more mindfulness. That’s just where I am.
